CGB CONSULTANTS Sdn Bhd was founded in 2005. We are a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm registered with the Board of Architects, Board of Engineers Malaysia and also Ministry of Finance (MOF), with our business office located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. We provide professional services in Architecture, Engineering and Conservation, with our scopes ranging from planning to detailed design, construction documentation, field work inspection, implementation and supervision. We are a medium-sized organisation and we have taken on a variety of projects from housing schemes and commercial buildings to the rehabilitation and preservation of conservative works.
Our directors have been previously involved in assorted projects as consultants and conservators. With our experience in these fields, we are confident that we will be able to manage, design, repair, rehabilitate, strengthen, and conserve buildings and other assets systematically. We also strive to preserve the historical and heritage value of buildings through conservation, preservation, and adaptive re-use.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dato’ Ir. Dr. Ch’ng Guan Bee
Ch’ng Guan Bee graduated with a Civil Engineering Degree from University of Tennessee, U.S.A. in 1986, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University, U.S.A. in 1993 and 1996, respectively. His Ph.D. research was part of extensive research project on the area of active seismic control financially supported by National Science Foundation (NSF), U.S.A.
Ch’ng is a corporate member of Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (I.E.M.), a registered professional engineer (P.Eng) with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (B.E.M.) and a registered ASEAN engineer. He was active in Institution of Engineers, and was Chairman of Highway & Transportation Technical Division for two (2) terms & was Chairman of sub-committee on Earthquake of IEM.
He is currently the Director of Engineering at CGB Consultants Sdn Bhd and has extensive experience in Project Management, Consultancy and Research in Civil Engineering, Forensic Investigation and Earthquake related Engineering. He is also directors of various setups in property and investment outfits. He is contributing academically as Adjunct Professor of Infrastructure University of Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) with two (2) Ph.D. students under him, working on advanced and multi-purposed powder material research. In addition, he is in the Industry Advisory Panels of Inti University (Nilai campus) and Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP, Perak).

DIRECTOR
Ar. Junn Ng
Junn Ng, was born in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. She completed her high school education at Methodist Girls High School and her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon, USA.
She is a professional architect registered with The Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), registered interior designer with LAM and The Malaysian Institute of Interior Design (MIID), Registered Conservator with the National Heritage Department Malaysia (JWN). She is also serving in the Architecture and Landscape Council of JWN for heritage listing and The International Council on Monuments & Sites Malaysia (ICOMOS Malaysia) for the second term.
Currently she is the Director of Architecture and Heritage at CGB Consultants Sdn Bhd located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor which provide multi-discipline practice in architecture, heritage architecture and C&S engineering.

Rizal Husin
Rizal Husin is a Senior Associate Architect at CGB Consultants Sdn Bhd. He obtained his first degree; B.Sc in Housing Building and Planning (Hons) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1995. He worked for Chan and Shahriman Architect over a year before furthered his study to obtain his Bachelor of Architecture degree from USM. He has over 24 years’ experience as an architect and academician. Upon graduation he joined Perunding Alam Bina and involved in a few flagship projects such as Jelutong Expressway and Batu Kawan Stadium. He is active as an academician and gave his lectures in various academic institution such as UTM and IUCTT. He has worked in several capacities prior to joining CGB Consultants Sdn. Bhd.. As an academician, he has won, presented and published his academic writings in various international journal and proceeding; inclusive the highly prestigious Elsevier Science Journal. He joined CGB Consultants Sdn. Bhd. in 2005.
